Puppies Rescued From Debris After Tornadoes In Cherokee County

A couple lost their home of 18 years to tornadoes on Saturday, yet they’re thankful for the arrival of something indispensable.

“I just covered up, and I was praying, and then a big board back there in the backyard like shielded me,” said Byron Verdell in a statement for ABC13

“I heard my significant other bounce on the trailer and he resembled, ‘Where are you?’ and I’m similar to, ‘I’m covered up under so much stuff,” said Sandra Verdell.

While Sandra was scanning for her significant other, their 10-year-old terrier, Bella, was sniffing out her own search for the most diminutive individuals from their family.

Cellphone video caught the minute the family discovered every one of the four little dogs sheltered and alive.

“Everyone is represented. We didn’t lose no one,” said Byron.

The family says they are appreciative for everybody who has come to help them up until this point. They are significantly increasingly appreciative their pups are as yet alive.
