The reward for information leading to the arrest of the person on account of a pup found burned and tossed into a dumpster in Coachella has bounced to $20,000 according to KTLA 5 News.

A man and his little girl found the animal close to a strip mall on 49849 Harrison St. the evening of May 5, as per a Sherman Oaks animal rescue

The two heard the little dog crying and scavenged through the rubbish, inevitably finding the 2-week-old doggie in a plastic sack. About 30% of the doggie’s body was covered with burns, Dr. Andreana Lim at the Mcgrath Veterinary Center said.

Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation recently declared a $10,000 compensation for any kind of information on the individual responsible for this heinous act of animal cruelty whom rescuers have named Hope.


In an Instagram post on Saturday, the association said actor celebrity Shannen Doherty and model Joanna Krupa each has donated an addition $5,000 for anyone who can help bring the puppy justice.

Actress Shannen Doherty has contributed $5000 to the reward stating, “People who do these types of things to animals go on to hurt women and children, and need to be held accountable.” Model Joanna Krupa has offered an additional $5000, in an effort to bring about justice. . We received a number of anonymous tips, and remained hopeful that the person responsible will be caught. Hope is currently at McGrath Veterinary under twenty four hour care. . It is undetermined if she will ever walk again, but owner Brian McGrath is confident she will pull through and survive. The dumpster Hope was discarded in is two blocks down the street from where seven puppies were dumped just a few weeks prior in Coachella. .
